1. Who we are
IndiRanker is an SEO intelligence service operated in India. In these terms, "we", "us" and "IndiRanker" refer to the operator of the service, and "you" refers to the person or organisation using it. If you use IndiRanker on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company to these terms.
2. Your account
You need an account to use the service. You agree to give accurate details, keep your password and API keys confidential, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity that happens under your credentials.
One person or team per account. Seats are licensed per named individual and cannot be shared between people. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to hold an account.
You may close your account at any time from the billing page. We may suspend or close an account that materially breaches these terms, that we are legally required to act against, or that has unpaid invoices past their due date. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will give you notice and a chance to fix the problem first.
3. Acceptable use
You may use IndiRanker for lawful SEO research, reporting, and analysis. You may not:
- resell, sublicense, or redistribute our data as a competing SEO index or data feed, or expose raw bulk data to third parties outside your organisation;
- circumvent plan limits, quota enforcement, authentication, or rate limits, including by creating multiple free accounts to avoid paying;
- scrape, mirror, or systematically download the service beyond the API allowances of your plan;
- use the service to build a competing product, or to train a machine-learning model intended to replace it;
- use the service to harass, defame, or unlawfully target any person or business;
- run denial-of-service attacks, port scans, or load tests against the service without written permission;
- upload malware, or attempt to gain access to data belonging to another customer.
We may set technical limits to protect the service and other customers. Repeated automated requests beyond your plan's allowance may be throttled.
4. Data, crawling and third-party sources
IndiRanker collects SEO data from public sources: search engine result pages we fetch ourselves, publicly available crawl data (such as Common Crawl), and publicly reachable web pages we crawl on your instruction or on our own schedule.
You are responsible for what you ask us to crawl. If you point a crawl or an audit at a site you do not control, you confirm you have permission to do so. We honour robots.txt by default and you should not use the service to crawl sites that prohibit it.
Third-party sources can change, throttle, or block access without notice. Metrics that we model rather than measure — for example estimated traffic or difficulty scores — are labelled as estimates in the interface. Treat them as directional signals, not audited facts.
You keep ownership of the content and data you upload. You grant us the licence we need to process it in order to run the service for you.
5. Plans, billing and taxes
Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually depending on the term you choose. Prices are shown in Indian rupees and, where applicable, are exclusive of GST. GST is added at checkout at the prevailing rate and shown as a separate line on your invoice.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. We will attempt to charge the payment method on file. If a charge fails we may retry and may suspend paid features after a grace period; your data is retained while the account exists.
If you upgrade mid-period, we charge the difference on a pro-rata basis for the remaining days. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing period, and your usage limits reduce from that date.
Plan limits — projects, tracked keywords, crawl volume, API calls, seats and history — are described on the pricing page and may be enforced technically. Exceeding a limit does not create an entitlement to more; it means you should upgrade.
6. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time from the billing page. Cancellation stops future renewals; your access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not pro-rate refunds for the unused part of a period, except where the law requires it or where we have failed to provide the service.
See the Refund Policy for the full position, including the 7-day cooling-off window on first purchases.
7. Intellectual property
The service — its software, interface, documentation and brand — belongs to us and is protected by copyright and other laws. These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during your subscription. They do not transfer ownership of anything.
Reports and exports you generate are yours to use with your clients and colleagues. You may not remove or obscure attribution where it is built into a white-label report unless your plan permits white-labelling.
8. Availability and support
We aim to keep the service available at all times but we do not promise uninterrupted operation. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance where practical. Uptime commitments apply only to plans that state an SLA in writing; Enterprise customers receive the SLA in their order form.
Support response targets are published on the pricing page and apply during Indian business hours (IST), Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Enterprise plans may include extended coverage as set out in their order form.
9. Liability
The service is provided "as is". We do not warrant that data will be complete, current, or error-free, or that using the service will produce any particular ranking, traffic or revenue outcome. Search engines change their behaviour and no tool can guarantee results.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost revenue, or loss of data where you have failed to keep your own backups.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes are notified by email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. If you do not agree to a change, you may cancel before it applies. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.
